I was the same way. I Preferred the look of the '47-'53 Chevy COE's more so, than the '54/'55 1st series Chevy, but as i set out to find one a '54 was also my first. I learned to like it. I later found what I was looking for, & some 30 COE's later, i've only owned three '54/'55 Chevy COE's. I later preferred the '47-'55 GMC COE's, over the Chevy COE's.
