I'm also getting ready to install glass in my '41 windshield frame. I had the glass cut locally, and asked the guy about the glass setting tape. He said that is an antiquated product that is notorious for allowing water to seep in, and that he recommends using a modern urethane adhesive like they use on newer cars. Has anyone tried this on a stovebolt windshield frame?
