I like those red top Carter fuel filters. Don't know if it's the same as a Moraine Durex filter gasket:
diameter = 2-1/8"
inner opening = 15/16".

If they are the same, I can send you a pattern for a Durex filter gasket. Send me a PM with your email address.

Carter filters are often on e-bay. You might find an element there.

If the bowl leaks, here is how fixed my leaking Durex filter body.

BTW - see this 1959 Cadallac Serviceman bulletin about reusing old cork filter gaskets -- lower right corner. It's true. My cork fuel filter gasket will shrivel up like a corn flake when I remove it and it dries out. Must cut a new one.
