wow, thanks jerry and bill.... now that jerry talks about the dimmer switch, i remember when i first bought the truck i tried the hig beams and it only killed the lights, so i pressed it again and the low beams came back on. i have never hit the dimmer switch since then, but maybe it has finally went south. is there a way to check the dimmer switch first without having to buy one, like jumping a wire from it or something ? i would hate to buy a headlight switch and it be the dimmer.
