I was looking at my fuel line from the bottom of my tank and noticed that it too had not been properly clamped. In fact the hose clamps were dangling down around the middle of the hose. Anyway while I was tightening things up I noticed that the brass hose fitting going into the tank swivels. Is it supposed to? I tried gently adjusting it. There is a lock nut next to the brass fitting, but I was unsure if because the fuel line is copper and rigid that maybe the fitting was supposed to be loose and swivel?? Anyone know? It doesn't seem to leak like the connection at the carb did.
