For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 1,232 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 1,232 | Here's another hood spring tool. This one is for a mid-50's F-100. Similar hood spring to AD hoods. Click on "Instructions" to see how it works. I have no idea if it will work. I originally started the search for a hood spring tool for my buddy's '53 F-100 panel truck. He greased the spring after his restoration - now it won't stay up. I hoped that if he bought a tool, I could use it to remove my springs and blue them like D.G. told me a few months ago.
