Let's be sure we are talking about the same thing here.
When you say re-torque, does that mean loosen the head bolt and than torque it to specs again? Or do you mean check and be sure the head bolt is torqued to specs?
I would not loosen the head bolt and torque it to specs again, but I would put the torque wrench on it and be sure it was tight to specs.
