Hey guys,
It took quite a bit of effort and some valuable help from a friend and my couisin to get my fenders, running board and hood on.
I was dealing with bent running board brakets, fenders that I had rebuilt due to all the bottoms being rotted away,fender welting, and trying not to scratch paint.
With alot of adjusting, readjusting, and a little bit of swearing they came out fitting pretty good. The only issue I have is the running board to frame filler pieces I bought do not fit up. They are not wide enough to bolt up to the holes on the running board. I am wondering now if I have 1940 narrower running boards on my truck. If anybody with a 39 could give me a measurement of the width at the rear of their runningboards, it would be much appreciated . I added some pics to my photobucket.
