235 Fat Fenders Shop Shark 2 Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 324 Arlington Texas	Onelane, the 55 1st rear end is a direct bolt in. I used one on my 53. You would be ahead of the game to install a overdrive transmission at the same time. I did and I can run at 65 and 70 on the high way with my 235 just like the big boys. Tom. 1953 Chevolet 5 window
