I used a Capspray turbine on my truck. My Dad loaned it to me. I liked it. Took a bit to get used to operating it, but it will spray anything from industrial latex to water borne stuff, with different projectors.
It is strange to drag around the huge hose. It is incredible to me how much less overspray there was, but I'd never used a HVLP before. Previously, I'd mostly sprayed gel-coat, on the end of a 50hp compressor. (thats not really a precise operation)
The turbine I used is a four stage, it makes 8.5 psi, and about 50cfm I believe.
