When i turn on the lights it drops an 1/8 or less when i turn i the highbeams it bounces around like a pinball for a second or two before settle down just below were it started. So it reads it as charging. My battery is only two-three years old so and it will mantain a charge for months although i try to run the car weekly. Which is why i believe it is the generator or starter. What do you think?
Another question I had is it has been suggested to use an 8 volt. Now I use those in my 6 volt tractors to give it alittle more omph trying to start but was wondering is it safe to do that when using 50 year old wiring and fuses? | | |
