How did you get the truck? Where did it serve? What are your plans - complete restoration, refurb, just a parade truck?

All Chevy fire trucks were sent to a factory as a "cab & Chassis", and had the fire company install the body. The Fire Engine companies in 1940 were pretty regional, save for the big three: Seagrave, Mack & American LaFrance. Scores of smaller companies installed bodies and pumps. Who did yours? If you don't know, we may be able to tease it out of photos.
