Sweet, I think you are assuming it to be a torque tube style rear end. I saw his signature shows a 69 model so it will be open driveshaft. If you turn the driveshaft 180 degrees, does the front yoke go in any further? It came out, you have to assume that the same parts would go back together the same way.
