I'm one of those that when I put things back together, I always try to user all new fasteners.
In the process of putting together my 235, and want to replace the 2 screws that hold the cam thrust plate on, I found 2 SS screws at my favorite hardware store, but they were out of the original style inner locking lock nuts, will the outer locking nuts work just as well? Should I use loctite on the threads of the new screws? I've read the threads on using stainless screws & bolts, and possible thread problems. Am I going in the wrong direction? Thanks!
