To determine if a Canadian three ton truck has a '270' engine, are the numbers '270' are punched in the number sequence on the boss aft of the distributor? The truck I saw had no typical letter (X, C, XC, G) to start the sequence, nor does it match the number on the door post... please help.
Will this '270' engine bolt in to a Canadian 1949 Chev one ton that had a '216'? What modifications are required?
