Denny 1 fitting comes out of the top of the canister facing the ..about at the generator, and the other out the bottom, the bottom fitting is screwed into the canister,so is the top.. both fittings Brass. i know you prob know this. It looks to me that there is enough length of oil hose to move the canister without getting longer hoses,although one is s/s the other is rubber. I was just hoping to be able to do this without draining the oil..I am on my 2nd oil change,,The last change was a hot change,I have not driven it as you guys prob. know..in 2 years, but I do start it about 3 times a month.
