Might be a ggod idea to drain it first, just in case. But I'd try it without removing the hoses first. You never know, they might be ok. Or maybe even just swapped if the lengths are not the same. If you do have new ones made, get the measurements and go to the flaps. I had mine made, took the old ones with me so they could see what ends were needed. Mine are made with 300 psi hose, more than enough for the pressure that you'll get from the oil pump. Alternitavle, you could also use 1/4" steel brake line, which some of my oil lines also have. my filter is mounted to the fender well, as I used the filter mount on the manifold for the fuel distribution block for the 2 Holleys i'm running.
