I'm doing the very same thing myself. One thing you will probely need to do is to get a different rear trans mount. Lots of places sell them so that should be no problem. Do you mean the rear springs? If so, I kept them the same. My front is a grafted in Caprice with coil springs. Not sure what to recommend if you kept the original front end. Is yours a short box?
