got it!! Had a buddy of mine tap engine over as i gingerly pushed distributor down, it had about 1/2 of an inch to go and now we got good pressure!!
Thanks a million!! I had installed a aluminum side plate and the distributer now almost touches it...the origional plate allowed more clearance, neverless i got it squared away. Thanks Dave...we did exactly what you recommended.
