Ah, yes, I have "gotten it." I have owned the truck since about '62, and am entering my 3rd year of "restoration," such as it is. I have had the truck in Mexico, Canada, and from the Pacific to the Atlantic, and all under it's own power. It is...tired, and with reason.
But I also have gotten that this forum is by far the best for bits and pieces of information.
I do appreciate the responses, and will move forward, but with a different point of view.

As to the radiator shell problem, I, too, had to finally attack it with a dremel tool, and still shim it about 1/2 an inch. All is now well and good...at least for now.
