Yes, the ignition voltage that goes to the coil would be sufficient to power the warning lights. Both lights would need to have 2-wire connections without a socket ground. The oil pressure light is grounded by a switch that senses oil pressure and grounds at any pressure below about 7 PSI. On a 10-SI GM alternator, the ground wire for the warning light is connected to the #1 blade terminal on the perimeter of the alternator.
