| | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 1,513 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 1,513 | If the head you intend to run on the 261 does not have the 6 coolant holes there are those who will tell you it does not overheat and can be run like that. Personally I believe if no flow is present the large temperature differential will result in greatly accelerated cylinder wear. More info here.
