Hy BlackLion, welcome, that engine was built in Tonawanda N.Y. on November 12th. The GF code was used on three V8s a 1955 265, a 1957 283, and a 1965 283, so if your block has side mount bosses cast into it then it's the 1965 283. If it doesn't have side mount bosses then it could be either a 265 or a 283, a casting number (raised) from the block may help to pin it down, hope that helps.
