I also have a 55 3/4 ton-235. I hate the clunky
wheel hubs etc...I'm in the middle of a total truck re-build..I bought a 1/2 ton axel on Ebay
with spindles..I haven't put the 1/2 axel on yet but once I do I can either go with 1/2 ton gear or better yet some 5 lug disc brakes for a wider selection of wheels..if that's not what you're after disregard all of the above..
