Hey, 1955 6400! My 2nd-series '55 has the short,fat hood-emblem, which,as Mike B mentioned, are the same,except for the opposing paint schemes. Starting in '55,Chevy owners had the choice of two different engine configurations:straight-six-(the short-style hood emblem),or the "long-skinny".style emblem.signifying a V-8-powered vehicle.
