My McKaig-Hatch and Vlchek tools have markings on them.
A "v" within a circle (or "badge") for Vlchek and McKaig-Hatch spelt out on the M-H tools.
At a show, I check for the logos, Denny (and, I bet you check also). And/but, I do not say anything, if there are no logos.
If I remember, I'll take photos of the labels/logos (I have a hammer, as PP&M sang, but I do not recall if it has a logo).
