If I read your initial post correctly, you state that you have the original GVW and serial # tag. If that is so, then you have all that the truck came with. If the numbers on your title are not the same as your serial number, then you have a problem. Check your engine serial number. In the past, many trucks were titled with the engine number, but then the engine may have been changed, leaving the owner without matching identification. You will need to find out from your DMV how to deal with this. There will be a solution, but stamping your own numbers is not recommended.
