| | | | Joined: Jun 2003 Posts: 17 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Jun 2003 Posts: 17 | Ya stovebolters how are you doing,been a while since I have been here.I need your guys help with a 283 rear main seal change I did with the engine in truck pulled the pan and pulled out the top half of the seal.When I was tapping out the seal I scratched the shaft where the rear main seal sits,will a scratch on the crank hurt anything help. thanks for the help. | | |
