This is priceless! My siblings think I'm nuts for taking pics of old "junk" trucks. It sure is nice to belong to a forum of other truck enthusiasts.
Jock, I'm trying real hard to hear that Scottish accent come through while reading your description of what's in the junkyards in Scotland. ... nice! Most of the junkyards here have that newer cr*p as well. Seeing the old big trucks is what made me take the detour off the interstate, track down the owner, spend the time to do the proper amount of b.s.ing/"chewing the fat" (always enjoyable), and get permission to take pictures and post on-line. It was a GOOD day!! :-)
