First time I’ve used the vibratory/tumbler that I bought at Harbor Freight last year.
They didn’t have many choices for media so I got me a bottle of the little sharp
green triangles about a ¼” and I’ve got some smooth gray abrasive triangles about
½” that one of the machine shops was using in their tumbler. Now both of these
are just fine for REAL BIG stuff but when you get down to the nuts and bolts of
the restoration, something small enough to get in to the threads or small cracks
and crevices is called for, but it still has to be aggressive enough to get the rust
out.
Any suggestions for this and or sources?
