Ok I'm still learning about this stuff and getting ready to weld on new spring perches. When you say to run a bead on the opposite side 180 degrees off, is that done even when you don't have anything to weld to the opposite side? For example I'm getting ready to weld on a simple perch to the bottom side of the housing, but I'm not planning on doing any welding on the topside, so does that mean it is going to warp? Just trying to figure it out before I weld. Thanks for the info.
