As I read more and more on the net, info is starting to blur between the two I6 generations. You've confirmed what I'd learned back in the 80's & 90's. It's amazing how much interest has gathered for the Stovebolts since then, now there are quite a few more vendors and owners keeping them going.
The owner of this '62 doesn't know if it's a 1/2-ton or not. Fingers crossed...although a good running 235 wouldn't be bad either. It's too bad I don't need or want the rest of the truck.
