For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 143 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 143 | I'm installing a new generic wiring harness on my '50 3100. Everything except the brake lights are working. Rear harness has a wire for tail lights and for left & right turn signals. Turn signals are wired to a Signal-Stat setup. Turn signals and tail lights work fine. Tail lights are 2 bulb type from Classic: http://www.classicparts.com/1947-53-Taillamp-Assembly-Painted-R-Bluedot/productinfo/49-026/ . Wire comes from taillights to terminal on headlight switch. Have 1 wire from fuse panel going the brake switch (batt +) Have a wire from stop switch to brake switch (ignition wire). I know I’m missing something but what?
It never costs more to ask and it never costs more to think big.
