Continuing to work on any number of jobs with the 47 1 ton.... Bodyman said that the door hinges were worn, needed to replace the pins with oversize ones. I got those from American Classic.
How are the existing pins removed? I tried a hammer and punch and beat it like a rented mule. No luck, then I chickened out. Is this a job for a press and heat? I know I'll need to drill out the hinge halves to accept the oversize pins - anyone done this? It it a slip or interference fit? No instructions came w the pins, just the oversize pins.
TIA for innybuddy dats done dis and can shed some light....
