I have used dual carbs (Rochester B's) on several engines and find them to be relatively trouble free if properly set up. The "cool factor" is the big reason, and having Fenton headers works good too. The two carbs and headers have made my 248 GMC quite responsive, probably has 35 more horsepower than stock.
