Jon, what an exceptional story ! The truck looks great and the heritage is something to be proud of.
I can shoot myself - we had a '48 Chev 1/2 ton and a '48, 5 ton in a shed on the farm (sold '85). (I was conscripted at the time)
My grandfather didn't belive in selling Chevs and kept these two vehicles in good condition all those years !
