It's nice to share and get feedback from people who understand or at least appreciate one's efforts. All of my friends and co-workers can't understand why I want to spend so much time with this old truck. Most of them don't even have enough interest to look at it.
As a lifelong motorcyclist I learned a long time ago that the journey was usually more interesting than the destination. I have done a lot of projects over the years but my goal was always completion and the work was just something to get done as fast as possible to get there. With this project I have been enjoying the journey all the way. I have an ultimate goal of finishing the truck but I am not in a hurry to get there. The information provided by this forum is key to making this whole project fun instead of frustrating.
