For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 554 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 554 | My 1952 3100 is moving under its own power for the first time in more than a quarter century! I still just have the cab only on the chassis. I wanted to make sure everything was working as it should before adding anymore sheet metal. I was really looking forward to getting all the mechanical things done since I have the most experience in this area and thought it would go without a hitch. It did not. But thanks to help from the forum and info in the archives I was able to work through all the little issues that came up and everything is functioning perfectly. Did the engine run-in for 20 minutes and then couldn't resist the urge to drive it around the property a little bit. Very happy guy so far.
