The Stovebolt Site Forums The Parking Lot '60-'66 Trucks 1970 4spd Manual into a 61?

I put a late 70's early 80's three speed in my 61 and had to replace the bearing retainer to a smaller one. Not sure if you can do that to a 4 spd.
