Two questions,....49 1/2 ton w/sm420 I think. I have unbolted the back tranny plate and threaded the coller off the bellhousing...enclosed driveshaft by the way. The bellhousing on the rear of the tranny covering the u-joint won't come loose. Is it supposed to just slide back or what? Next question....the front crossmember on the drivers side has about 3" of rusted out area. Can this be repaired without replacement of the cross member? My Dad gave me this truck and it would really be a setback to have a bad frame. I dont post much but try to read alot! Thanks in advance Rick
