I have searched everywhere and to no avail.
I saw a gasket on the axel tube for a late model truck's rear. I guess the question is, when the parts are OE metal to metal a gasket in not necessary, but would the modification of the piece(s) being now removable (i.e. rivets cut off and nut and bolted together) change the need for a gasket?
Kurt, I interesting idea of a gasket exchange. I will make them and send you a scan when it is done.
