Thaaks all for the responses. To Bigtonka, What I'm asking is where do I start? I do want the cab completely off the frame so I can have the frame blasted and painted and I need to have someone repair, blast and paint the cab. I'm not a mechanic, welder, body or paint man....Stovebolt and Google are my best friends these days...but I do enjoy working on it. It's been a slow go this past year...spent time on dialysis and then getting a kidney transplant but now...I'm feeling great and getting in the garage every chance I get (amazing what a 28 year old kidney does for a 53 year old body! My son was the doner).
I digress, I've never welded and don't think my truck should be where I learn -- unless you think it's not as hard as it sounds?
Anyway, again thanks for all the advice!
