I fought with sealing the back doors on my old '57 for years, until working on another TF panel I found a set of NOS barn doors that still had the original rubber, in very good condition - I sent them to Steele to reproduce, which is why they offer them now, there is no substitute

why would you have to replace the seals when the truck is painted? just take them off and reinstall them, they clip in and have the correct molded in metal tabs at the corners to hold it tight .... I can tell you from experience that the generic side door rubbers will not seal the TF barn doors well .... the drill is do it right or do it over ... how many wrong seals will add up to the cost of the right ones? wink
