We are in the process of building a roll back hauler using 37 Chevy 2 ton sheet metal on a UD (Nissan heavy truck division) chassis. The fenders had to be widened 2" on each side to cover the tires and the front of the running boards flared out to blend in. The UD was selected because they have a reputation for a smooth ride and the owner is going to use it for hauling his 1937 Chevy Business coupe long distances to shows. The paint and glass work are finished and it's going to the upholstery shop next so it's in it's final stages. Almost EVERYTHING had to be custom made or fabricated and final cost is going to be near 35k. Fuel, electrical, cooling, drive line, brakes, sheet metal, frame, steering,.....everything, underwent extensive modification. Just a primer on what to expect.
