No Dave, if your looking in the 1929-57 parts book, that may indicat that. But in the 1946-72 1/2 to 1-ton Trucks parts book that I have it lists it as a replacement head for 1953 thru '62. The effective date of this parts book is May, 1977
And I made a correction to the typo i.e. changed the '67 to '62 which of course was the last year for that series.
