Just wanted to know how interchangeable accessories and parts are between the late 235 and 261s? In particular, I have a Mallory dual point distributor which I bought for a 235 and I was wondering if it could be applied in the case of a 261? I have also cross-referenced several casting pages for a block # which I suspect MIGHT be a 1959 261, possibly from Canada. The block # is 3768717 and the head # is 3836850. The yardman from the salvage yard it sits in says that it has both front and rear motor mounts as well as side mounts. Would this be because it is a later engine and would allow it to be used in several different vehicles? Thanks for the input as usual. -Shane
