I purchased my'40 1/2 ton about 2 years ago, the brakes seemed to work and did not seem to leak. I replaced the flexible brake lines, added new fluid and blead the brakes. A while later all the wheel cylinders seem to be leaking and my master cylinder is dry.

Could the DOT 5 fluid have corroded the old rubber in my system?
