Wolfgang, yes you can change the clutch without removing the engine ,if I were you I would first get a shop manual for you're truck you can get them at places like Jim Carters or Clasic of America. As for what clutch to get it depends on whats in there,you'll have to remove the old one and then get the same one ,My 52-3100 had a 9 inch and My Buddys 50 had a 10 1/2 inch so you'll have to see whats there first.Get the shop manual and it will have a complete explanation on how to get the old clutch out and how.
