I just bought a complete 216 engine and crash box transmission out of a 46 2-ton for 50 bucks, but it wasn't in running condition. Since yours is probably the SM-420 trans with synchronized 2nd. 3rd. and 4th. gears, it's worth a little more. On a good day, you could probably get $200.00 for the whole thing, assuming somebody wants a 216 in running shape.
