"bondo" is a brand name, body filler of many brands is used by virtually every bodyman on the planet, properly used for final leveling there's no need for cringing to be involved, especially with simply pitted areas, poor leading can be more hassle than polyester fillers - if the pitted areas need more than a skim of filler it's time to get out the welder and patch it properly, which of course will require some filler to finish
